Convert PDF to Video Free Online
Convert multi-page PDF documents into a video slideshow. Processes entirely in your browser without uploading to any server.
How to Convert PDF to Video in Your Browser
- Select your PDF: Drop your PDF into the converter area, or choose it with the file picker.
- Choose slide timing: Pick how long each page should stay on screen. You can use slow review presets, standard slideshow pacing, or fast frame-rate playback.
- Render pages as frames: GrepCut renders each PDF page to a canvas locally and turns those rendered pages into a continuous video sequence.
- Download your MP4: Save the finished H.264 MP4 slideshow to your device. Your PDF is not uploaded to a server.
The conversion happens in your browser using PDF.js, canvas rendering, and WebCodecs. That means your document stays on your device while you create a shareable MP4.
Why Turn Your PDF Pages into an MP4 Slideshow?
A PDF works well when you want someone to read or print a document. It becomes less convenient when you want to show the same pages on a TV, upload them to a video platform, or send a simple preview that plays automatically.
When you convert your PDF to video, every page becomes a frame in an MP4 slideshow. You can turn a slide deck, visual report, portfolio, lesson handout, comic layout, or page-by-page review file into something that plays in a normal video player.
This is especially useful when you already have a finished PDF and do not want to rebuild the file in PowerPoint, Keynote, or a video editor just to make a basic slideshow.
Choose the Slide Timing That Matches Your PDF
Your video length depends on two things: how many pages your PDF has and how long each page stays visible. A 20-page PDF at 1 FPS becomes a 20-second MP4. The same file at 1 per minute becomes a 20-minute video.
For narration, study, or slow review, choose 1 per 5 minutes, 1 per 2 minutes, or 1 per minute. These presets give you time to explain a slide, read a dense page, or pause during a lesson.
For a normal slideshow preview, try 2 per minute, 4 per minute, 1 per 10 seconds, 1 per 5 seconds, or 1 FPS. For a fast page scan, flipbook, or reel-style preview, use 8 FPS, 24 FPS, 30 FPS, or 60 FPS.

Slow Review vs Fast Playback
| Your goal | Recommended presets | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Narrate a presentation or lesson | 1 per minute to 1 per 5 minutes | Each page stays visible long enough for explanation, reading, or voiceover |
| Preview a deck or document | 2 per minute to 1 FPS | Balanced pacing for meetings, approvals, demos, and quick sharing |
| Scan a long PDF quickly | 8 FPS to 60 FPS | A short MP4 that moves through pages rapidly |
| Upload to a phone or video platform | 1 FPS to 30 FPS | A standard MP4 file with H.264 video for broad playback |
Total video length equals your page count multiplied by the time each page stays on screen.
What Happens to Your File During Conversion?
Your PDF is read locally by your browser. GrepCut renders each page as an image-like canvas frame, then encodes those frames into an MP4 video.
The output is a silent H.264 MP4 because a PDF contains pages, not audio. If you need music, narration, trimming, or more advanced editing, create the slideshow first and then edit the exported video in GrepCut.
Very large PDFs or very long slow-paced videos can take more time because your own device is doing the rendering and encoding work. There is no server-side upload limit, but your browser, memory, and CPU still matter.
