Refund Policy

1. General Policy
All purchases made through GrepCut, including subscriptions and AI Usage, are generally final. Except where required by applicable law, where a product was not delivered as described, or where we expressly approve an exception, we do not offer voluntary refunds, credits, or exchanges.
2. Subscriptions
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not create a right to a refund for the current billing period merely because you chose not to use the Service.
- Unless applicable law requires otherwise, unused AI Usage included in a subscription plan does not carry over after cancellation and is not separately refundable.
3. AI Usage
- AI Usage purchased as a one-time top-up is intended for immediate use inside the Service and is non-transferable between accounts.
- AI Usage is consumed when a request is submitted to the AI system for processing, regardless of whether you later decide the output is useful for your project.
- We do not offer refunds or credits merely because AI-generated results did not meet your expectations, provided the request was processed as intended.
- Where legally permitted, unused AI Usage may expire upon account termination for cause.
4. EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer, you may ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. That right can be lost only where checkout validly collects your explicit request for immediate performance together with the legally required acknowledgment.
If that confirmation is not validly collected at checkout, your statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected. This policy does not remove any non-waivable consumer rights.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment on our behalf and is responsible for managing your purchase, applicable taxes, and billing disputes. For billing or payment issues, contact Paddle directly at paddle.com.
6. Exceptions
We may issue a refund or credit where justified, for example in the following cases:
- A duplicate charge caused by a technical error on our part.
- A charge made after a confirmed cancellation that was not processed correctly.
- A material failure to provide the paid digital service as required by applicable law.
- Any situation where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law.
These examples do not create a broad discretionary refund program. Each case is assessed on its own facts.
7. Complaints and Payment Disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us at privacy@grepcut.com or contact Paddle before initiating a dispute with your bank or payment provider. We will review legitimate concerns in good faith.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we may temporarily restrict account access while the matter is investigated. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to suspension or termination of the account where permitted by law.
